This classical design was driven by the client and the interior designer Ann Tucker at Studio A. The diamond-shaped patterns in the top reflect the chandeliers above. Quartersawn planetree, koa, brass, and sipo mahogany.

The client provided the live oak slabs for the table top, milled and dried by Berdoll Sawmill. To stretch the 8’ long wood into a 10’ long table, I added wide breadboard ends. The stout table base balances the massiveness of the top.
